Aliza Souleyeva-Alexander’s work deals with questions of humanity and emotional reaction to life changes. With this in mind, her work examines the juxtaposition between a person’s individuality versus the inherent commonality shared within the human race.

Aliza received her master’s degree in Arts and Textiles from the State Arts Academy of Kazakhstan in 2000. Since graduation she has participated in a numerous shows as well as had 12 solo shows in Kazakhstan and Canada.
