Artist Statement:

The inspiration for this series came from my first trip to a Canadian farm, near Russell, Manitoba. In each piece, I used every thing I saw in July at the farm, including flowers, fruits, and humming birds. I was impressed with people’s hospitality, the hard work they do every day, and nature’s beauty and bounty.  As a sign of my respect and gratitude for all of this, I made this series.
